Burke & Wills is an independent bottler that has been purchasing barrels of new make spirit since 2017 from the best distilleries all across Australia.
We've been known in some cases to jump on the tools and help distill the whisky (to our specs). Yes, we don't just buy barrels of whisky, we also love making whisky. It's bloody hard work with a great reward at the end.

We released our first whiskies in 2023, with one simple rule. Pardon the cliché, but when the whisky is ready, we bottle it. Never early. Never late. At peak flavour, in all its glorious cask strength awesomeness.

Our headquaters are based in Sydney, Australia. Burke & Wills Whisky is an independent bottling project between four mates, who just love damn good whisky. We have been selecting and purchasing Aussie whiskies for 7+ years, with a few other whisky bottlings under our belt under the labels of The Whisky List, A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing, and the cult whisky classic Mad Maxine.
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of Country, in particular the Gadigal people on whose land Burke & Wills Whisky of Sydney is located. We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters, and culture and pay our respect to Elders, past, present, and emerging.
